I work as a solo operator and bring my own gear from first shot to final colour grade. Single shoot, multi-day production, recurring brand work — same person on camera, same person in the cutting room. No handoffs, no creative drift between processes.
Videos#
Weddings and events as documentary, not theatre. I show up early, dress like a guest, and shoot from where the moment is actually happening: close, quiet, with small camera bodies and fast prime lenses. The deliverable is a tight highlight film plus, when it makes sense, a longer documentary cut you can sit with years later.
Image and Product Videos#
Built around a single idea, not a checklist of shots. I sit down with the people behind the company, find the one thing worth saying, and shape it into a short film that doesn’t feel like a corporate template. Concept, script, shoot, edit from one practitioner, one voice.
Product videos for online stores, makers and small brands.#
Controlled lighting, clean motion, tight cuts. I work fast on small sets and slow when the product earns it.
Cutting#
Post is half the film. Every project comes through my own edit, colour grade and sound. DaVinci Resolve for the picture pipeline, careful audio cleanup, music licensing handled. I also take on edit-only work for other shooters: rough cut to delivery, or a second pair of eyes on a piece that’s nearly there.
Volumetric — Gaussian Splats#
A more recent capability: 3D Gaussian Splatting. From a set of photographs of a scene — a venue, a workshop, a product, a piece of architecture — I produce an interactive 3D representation you can embed in a website, navigate in a browser, or hand to a 3D artist as a starting point. It’s not a polygon model and it’s not a photo; it’s a different way of capturing a place that’s only been viable for a couple of years.
Honest framing: this is a frontier offer for static scenes: venues, products, exhibits, locations work beautifully. I’m writing about the technique in detail on the blog as I push it further.

What I bring#
Full-frame mirrorless bodies, fast primes from wide to short tele, gimbal and tripod, drone where the shot calls for it, lavalier and shotgun audio with a real recorder, continuous LED lighting for interviews and product, neutral background options for on-location product. Post on a calibrated monitor. I travel with what the project needs and leave the rest at home. Small kit, careful choices and less stress.
